The mission of the Goodwill Fire Co. No.1 of Washington Boro shall be the preservation and protection of life and property for the citizens of Manor Township and surrounding communities during fire, river rescues, floods, storms, national disasters, vehicle accidents and medical emergencies, through an innovative and continuing education training program and professional application of fire and rescue techniques. |

Assist Station 7-6 on the Susquahanna River |

Dispached to assist Company 7-6 (West Hempfield) with a reported Water Rescue. Units were advised that a passerby saw what they thought to be a female subject jump from the Rt. 30 bridge. Boat 781 arrived and was instructed to launch and search the areas between the two bridges. Command 7-6 had a PSP Helicopter also search the water from overhead with nothing found. Units remained onscene for approx. two hours. |
