Engine Runs House "Off" In Millersville |

Just after midnight Engine 7-8-1 was dispatched as part of the second alarm assignment to the address of 66 Glen Oaks Dr. in Millersville Borough to assist Station 6-5 on a house fire. Engine 7-8-1 responded on the box just minutes after dispatch and made the 8 mile run East to Millersville Borough. Command 6-5 ordered Engine 7-8-1 to secure a secondary water supply from a hydrant down the street from the address. Once this assignment was completed, the crew went to manpower staging and then assisted with overhaul. Engine 7-8-1 was released and cleared the scene in 31 minutes. |
