The mission of the Goodwill Fire Co. No.1 of Washington Boro shall be the preservation and protection of life and property for the citizens of Manor Township and surrounding communities during fire, river rescues, floods, storms, national disasters, vehicle accidents and medical emergencies, through an innovative and continuing education training program and professional application of fire and rescue techniques. |

On 09 Jan 10 at approx. 2312 hrs. Station 78 was alerted for a trash fire in the area of Franklin Rd. and Seitz Rd, Chief 78 enroute being advised by LCWC of a Mail Box on fire. Chief arrived to find the mail box in front of 2352 Franklin Rd. on fire. Eng. 782 and Tanker 781 responded with a total of 6 personnel. Crews arrived and extinguished the small fire. Chief 78 placed all units in service at 2330 hrs. |
